On the next page is an index of names of the 1800 Moore County, North Carolina Census. There are several names I was not able to transcribe. If you click on the unknown name, you will be taken to a graphic of the actual copy of census. I have made every attempt to assure the accuracy of this transcription. However, errors do occur. If you find any, please let me know so I may make the correction
The number beside each name is the handwritten page number on the census, not the stamped number. These do not correspond with the published index!!! Locate the name you wish, note the number beside the name. Then click on the link to the appropriate page #. Due to the huge number of names I have tried to make this as easy as possible, without spending a large quantity of time making links and ending up with a large number of pages
I have chosen to put the census up by page number versus just an index. This will allow you to see who the 'neighbors' were
