52 (A)  Will of JOHN PERDUE. Dated 24 March 1768. Recorded February Court 1769. Son JOHN PERDUE to have land where he now lives, from JONATHAN JOHNSON's Creek to NS Owen's Creek. Sons JOEL PERDUE & MORRIS PERDUE to have land where I now live, to be divided by JAMES MOORE except house & plantation to Wife, for life, as well as land from JOHN DAWSON for term of lease & her life, then to son RICHARD PERDUE. To 3 sons WILLIAM, JOSEPH, & ADAMS PERDUE. Daughter PHOEBE PERDUE. Negros to wife, for life, and then to sons RICHARD, BEVEL, & LILISTON PERDUE. Residue to wife, for life, & then to 3 children BLACKMAN PERDUE, SALLY PERDUE, & ANN PERDUE. Six last named children to have equal share. To son FIELD PERDUE. Exors: JAMES MOORE & Wife SARAH PERDUE.
