Yours truly is a medical librarian and even with information delivery being my profession, I sometimes have trouble locating where the nearest public library is located when I’m doing my genealogical research.
This morning, I found this site that lets you search for public libraries in North Carolina. It is provided by the National Center for Education Statistics and you can searchor browse by city or by county, specify what type of library you’re interested in, and you can even search by distance from a specific Zip code. Check it out here! I have also placed this link on the Consolidated List of NC Resources here on the NCGenWeb site.
Contact Form — you may also have noticed that red button on the left side of the NCGenWeb site page. This links to a contact form widget that I created using a tool from http://visitorcontact.com. I learned of Visitor Contact from Thomas over at Geneabloggers.com – thanks for the link Thomas!
