In the name
of God Amen, I Anthony Bourdeaux of New Hanover County & State of
North Carolina
Being weak in body but of Sound and perfect Mind and memory, Blessed be
almighty God for the Same, I do make and publish this my last Will and
testament in manner and form following, That is to say I give and
bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Bourdeaux during her widowhood, all my
lands houses household furniture, plantation & plantation tolls,
one boat & a yoke of oxen, stock of cattle, Hoggs & Sheep, and
all that is mine shall be hers, During the widowhood, But if she
Marries again for the property to be Equally divided amongst my beloved
wife and these my Children John & Ezekiel & Armsted &
Mildred & Francis, my oldest daughter Julian, the wife of Alfred
Pridgen, I have given them fifty acres of land & five head of
cattle, & four head of Sheep, I give this before I (had wight) this
my last will and that is all the I intend them to have, and my Son
Ezekiel Bourdeaux, whom I hereby appoint to be my lawful executor to
all intents and purposes, to execute this my last will and testament,
according to the true intent and meaning of the same, and hereby revoke
all former wills by me made.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 6th.
Day of October one thousand eight hundred and fifty two. Signed,
sealed, published and declared by the said Anthony Bourdeaux to be his
last will and testament in the presence of us, who, at his request and
in his prescense do subscribe our names as witnesses thereto.

The Execution of this will is duly proven by the oath of Arthur
Bourdeax one of the subscribing witnesses (?) Whereunto it is
considered by the court that the same is the last will and testament of
Anthony Bourdeaux and as such ordered to be recorded & filed.
