Welcome to the new Onslow County, NCGenWeb site. \u00a0I am your new county coordinator, Taneya, and I am delighted to be working on enhancing the site. \u00a0My interest in the county stems from my Koonce ancestors, who were slaves of the white Koonce family of Jones County. \u00a0However, I have an interest in everyone with the Koonce surname, and the white Koonce family had cousins in Onslow County.<\/p>\n
