Location: East or South Hog Island, northeast of Cedar Island, Carteret Co., NC
Directions: Following Hwy 12 across the Wildlife Refuge to a point where the road turns to the left to Cedar Island, directly across the inlet is a group of islands called Hog Island. After the post office was established, it was given the name of Lupton.
Description: In 1981 there were three stones within an iron fence. In 1998, these stones were within a painted, wooden fence.
