JEREMIAH SEELEY FAMILY RECORDS

“These notes are given as they were found in the files of the late Madge McPherson Thacker, written as told to her by the late John T. Williams.

Rebecca Davis, daughter of Arthur Davis and his wife, Bathsheba Sanford, married Jeremiah Seeley and of that union came Phillip Seeley, father of Sanford and Lowry Seeley.

Sanford Seeley was the father of Alson, Ann Walker, and others.

Lowry Seeley was the father of Phillip (who died on his way to Indiana), Rebecca Andrews, Aunt Martha Ives, Aunt Nancy, and Mariah.

Jeremiah Seeley left to go back to his birthplace, Rhode Island, and never returned. It was never known what became of him. He was a carpenter and built several houses in the Providence neighborhood.”
