PRITCHARD<\/strong> my tract of land known as the <i>Sexton Field<\/i>, to be equally divided with them, should any of them die without lawful issue, to be divided with the surviving.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>II<\/b>: I give and bequeath to my Son <strong>JOHN W. PRITCHARD<\/strong> that part of my home tract of land known as the <i>New Ground<\/i> and also the woodland adjoining it up to the lead ditch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>III<\/b>: I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife<strong> CLARKEY<\/strong> the balance of my house tract her natural life and then to my Son <strong>JOHN W. PRITCHARD<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>IV<\/b>: I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife <strong>CLARKEY <\/strong>all the rest and residue of my estate of whatever kind and value.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>V<\/b>: I nominate and appoint my Son <strong>JOHN W. Pritchard<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: medium\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Pasquotank County In Probate Court May 21<sup>st<\/sup> day AD 1881.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium\">A Paper writing purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of <strong>JESSE PRITCHARD<\/strong> &amp; this day offered in Open Court for Probate in ????? by <strong>JOHN W. PRITCHARD<\/strong> the executor therin named. Where and when personally appeared Wm B. Pritchard and Henry M. Pritchard, the subscribing witnesses thereto, who on oath and examination say and each for himself saith that at the request of the testator <strong>JESSE PRITCHARD<\/strong> and in his presence and in the presence of each other they signed their names as subscribing witnesses thereto the said testator first having signed the same which he then and there declared to be his Last Will and Testament, further that at the time of the aforesaid witnessing thereof the testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory.
