I <strong>WILLIAM BARCOCK<\/strong> of the precenct of Pasquotank in the province of North Carolina Planter, being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God, therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to dye do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament, that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the hand of God that gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God. And as touching such worldly estate where with it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give &amp; demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Imprimis. I give and bequeath unto my Son <strong>THOMAS<\/strong> one hundred acres of land to be layed of at ye esterd end of my island to him and his heirs and assignes for ever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Item. I give and bequeath unto my Son <strong>WILLIAM<\/strong> a two year old hefer is be delivered to him with in six months after my desese and ye first foll that the black mare hath or bringeth I like ways give unto my Son <strong>WILLIAM<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Item. I give and bequeath unto my Son <strong>DANIEL<\/strong> One Hundred acres of land laying and joyning on my Son <strong>THOMASES<\/strong> hundred before menchened and a three year old hefer to be delivered to him when at ye full age of twenty one years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Item. I give unto my Son<strong> PETER<\/strong> One Hundred acres of land joyning on my Son <strong>DAN\u2019L<\/strong>. hundred called Popler Pare of Palinstine millstones and a three year old hefer and a gun to be delivered when of full age of twenty one years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Item. I give unto my Son<strong> JOHN<\/strong> One hundred acres of land called the Bectree Neck and a three year old hefer when at the full age of twenty one years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Item. I give and bequeath unto my Son <strong>JOSEPH<\/strong> the plantation I now live on containing One hundred and fourty acres of land to him and his heirs and assignes for ever and a sorel mare and a two year old hefer and my hunting gun.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Item. I give and bequeath unto my Son<strong> LUKE<\/strong> a two year old hefer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Item. I give and bequeath unto my Daughter <strong>ANN<\/strong> a three year old hefer to be delivered unto hir when at the full age of sixteen years and my iron skilet<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Imprimis. I give and bequeath to <strong>JANE<\/strong> my dearly beloved Wife all my houshold goods and stock debts and moveable effects together with hir lifetime on ye plantation whare on I now live (which I have bequeathed to my Son <strong>JOSEPH<\/strong> after the deces of my Wife) and I do like ways make and appoint my loveing Wife my Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament and I do here by utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former testaments wills legacies and bequeths and Executors by me in any ways before made willed and bequeathed. Ratifing and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament.
