\nWILLIAM CARTRIGHT<\/strong>
\n1730<\/p>\n

IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, the second day of fabury, in the year of our Lord, one Thousand, Seven hundred and Thirty and one. I, William Cartright<\/strong>, being very sick and Weak in body but of perfect mind and Memory, Thanks be given unto God therefore, Calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to Die, do make and ordain this my Last will and Testament, that is to Say: principally and first of all, I Recomend my body to the Earth to be buried In a Christian lik and Dacent Manner at the Discrestion of my Executors, nothing Doubting but at the Genrell Resariction I shall Recive the Same again by the might power of God that gave it; and as Touching Such worldly Estate whare with it hath pleased god to bless me in Life, I give and Dispose of the Same In manner following, Viz:<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto my friend, Hannah Staford<\/strong>, all my Land and plantation whereon I now Liveth by her freely to be possessed and Injoyed During The Term of her natural Life, and at her Death then I give it to my god Son, Joseph Stockley<\/strong>, to him and his heirs for Ever, freely to be possessed.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give Hannah Staford<\/strong>, three Cowes and a Fowe year old hefer and Two Two year old Steers, and Eight yards of Seven Eight Lining.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto my Sister, Mary Rees<\/strong>, four yards of Seven Eight Lining, and one Large pertor Bason.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto my brother, Robert<\/strong>, one bason and a Dish.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto my brother, Thomas<\/strong>, one pottel bason and one Dish.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto Owen Rees<\/strong>, one gun and a new Chest, and Two Sows and pigs, and one young horst.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give to my Brother Thomas<\/strong>, Two Sows and piggs, and one beaver hatt.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto Hannah Staford<\/strong>, my horse Sadel and bridle, and one Little Pott and pot hucks, and one Chest, and one white mug, and two bolltes, and one hive of bees.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give my Brother Robert<\/strong>, Two Sows and piggs.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give to my brothers, Robert<\/strong>, Thomas<\/strong> and Owen Rees<\/strong>, Each of Them, one Earthen Mugg and a glass bottle to Each of Them.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto my weel beloved friend, Ann Stockley<\/strong>, one frieing pan and one Eight Squiar bottle, and one behive of bess, and Two sows and piggs.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto Hannah Staford<\/strong>, Two Sows and Piggs.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto John Makdaniel<\/strong>, Two sows and piggs.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto Owen Rees<\/strong>, one fether bed and boulster.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto my brother, Thomas<\/strong>, one Rugg and blanket.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give unto Hannah Staford<\/strong>, one Large new Rugg.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give my ax, and Two hows unto my Brothers, Robert<\/strong>, Thomas<\/strong>, and Owen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Itm. I give to my Brothers, Thomas<\/strong> and Owen<\/strong>, one young mare bhay, giveing unto Elisabeth Clark<\/strong> the first Colt of the sd. Mare.<\/p>\n

And I doe make and ordain Jeremiah Murding<\/strong> and Stephen Delemare<\/strong>, my full and Sole Executors of this my Last will and Testament, and I doe hereby Revoke and Disanull and make viode all former wills and Testaments Whatsoever.<\/p>\n

In Witness Whareof, I have hereunto Sett my hand and seal.<\/p>\n
