(1994)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\">Transcribed by Stephen Carroll Pearsall<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong>Myra Rivenbark<\/strong> was the daughter of <strong>Richard Ray Rivenbark<\/strong> and <strong>Nora Brothers<\/strong>.\u00a0 I am compiling the genealogy of the John <strong>(Jacob) Wesley Brothers<\/strong> and <strong>Joseph (Jodie) Catherine Dupree<\/strong>.\u00a0 <strong>Nora Brothers,<\/strong> the mother of <strong>Myra Rivenbark,<\/strong> was their daughter.\u00a0 <strong>Myra Rivenbark<\/strong> was also married to a <strong>W. C. Nelms<\/strong>.\u00a0 <strong>Henry H. Shaw<\/strong> was<strong> Henry Hawthorne Shaw<\/strong>. \u00a0Would like to hear from members of the family. &#8212; Stephen Pearsall<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\"><strong>Myra R. Shaw,<\/strong> 86, died at John Randolph Medical Center, thursday, Jan. 27, 1994, after a period of declining health. She was the widow of Henry H. Shaw.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">Born on Nov. 23, 1907, in Burgaw, N.C., she was the daughter of <strong>Richard R. and Nora Brothers Rivenbark<\/strong> and had been a resident of Hopewell most of her life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">She was a member of the Pentecoastal Holiness Church in Hopewell.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">Shaw is survived by her daughter, <strong>Dorothy N. Peters<\/strong>, of North East, Md.; son and daughter-in-law, <strong>Walter L. and Billie A. Nelms<\/strong>; and son, <strong>Myron Joseph Shaw<\/strong>, of Hopewell; three grandsons, five granddaughters; 4 great grandsons and two great granddaughters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">The family will receive friends on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Gould Funeral Home.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">A service will be conducted on Saturday at 2 p.m., in the funeral chapel by the Rev. Willie S. Cromer Jr., pastor of the First Baptist Church.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"justify\">Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopewell Emergency Crew, P.O.
