BELL<\/strong>, were united in marriage yesterday at Burgaw. \u00a0Application for a marriage license was made here, but on account of an uncertainty as to whether the young lady was thirteen or fourteen years of age, the license could not be procured at the time. \u00a0The couple then decided to go to Burgaw and make a trial. \u00a0The bride was really fourteen years old and their trip to Pender county yesterday proved successful. \u00a0They returned to Wilmington on the evening train.<\/p>\n<p><em>Source: Virginian-Pilot, 11 Sep 1900, pg. 7.
