{"id":1639,"date":"2012-07-31T18:46:28","date_gmt":"2012-07-31T22:46:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ncgenweb.us\/perquimans\/?p=1639"},"modified":"2022-02-24T08:35:14","modified_gmt":"2022-02-24T13:35:14","slug":"abraham-sanders-1751-will","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncgenweb.us\/perquimans\/abraham-sanders-1751-will\/","title":{"rendered":"ABRAHAM SANDERS (1751 Will)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Will of<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>ABRAHAM\u00a0SANDERS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">1751<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>I <strong>Abraham Sanders<\/strong> of the province of North Carolina and County of Perquimans being throug Mercy in Reasonable health\u00a0 of body and in perfect Serene Mind and Memory but calling to Mind the uncertainty of this Life doe think proper to make this My Last Will and testament in manner and form&#8211;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Following first\u00a0 my Will and Desire is that my Just Debts and funeral expences be discharged and paid<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">First<strong>\u00a0<\/strong> I give and bequieth unto my son <strong>John Sanders<\/strong> the plantation whereon Richard Waters now lives bounded by a branch Runing from the river into the woods and soe from the head of the said branch by a line of markt trees to the head line of my land I say I give him the sd. plantation to him and his heirs forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">2dly\u00a0 I give and be quieth unto my daughter<strong> Jude Bois<\/strong> a tract of Land Containing forty three acres Joyning on the land of Anne Williams and fifty Seven acres adjoining it out of the Tract of Land whereon I now live to her and her heirs forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">3dly\u00a0 I give and bequieth unto my son<strong> Benjamin Sanders<\/strong> the plantation whereon I now Live with all the remainder of my Land to him and his heirs forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">4thly\u00a0 My Will and Desire is that if Either My son <strong>John<\/strong> or my son <strong>Benjamin<\/strong> should depart this Life before they arrive to the age of twenty one years that then the other may have and Enjoy his part of the Land to his proper use and heirs forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">5thly\u00a0 I give and bequeith unto my son <strong>Abraham Sanders<\/strong> five shillings sterling to him and his heirs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">6thly\u00a0 I give and bequeith unto my Daughter <strong>Elizabeth Sanders<\/strong> My Negro Man Named Sambo and one young Mare and one black walnut Chest and Case with fifteen bottles and one Linen Spinning wheal to her and her heirs forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">I also give to my Daughter <strong>Elizabeth Sanders<\/strong> one black Walnut Oval table to her and her heirs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">7thly\u00a0 I give all the remainder of my Estate to bee Equally Divided betwen My Loving Wife <strong>Jude Sanders<\/strong> and My three children <strong>John<\/strong>,<strong> Benjamin <\/strong>and<strong> Elizabeth Sanders<\/strong> to them and their heirs forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">My Will and Desire is that my sd. wife <strong>Jude Sanders<\/strong> have the care of my son<strong> John Sanders<\/strong> and his part of my Personal estate untill he arives to the age of twenty years and then I apoint him to bee of age to Receive it and have the full use and benefit of the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">My Will and Desire is thay My Daughter <strong>Elizabeth Sanders<\/strong> have the care of my son<strong> Benjamin Sanders<\/strong> and his part of my Personal estate untill he arives to the age of twenty years and then I apoint him to bee of age to receive it and have the full use and benefit of the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Also it is my will and Desire that My Daughter<strong> Elizth. Sanders<\/strong> have the Liberty to Live on that part of my Land which I gave to my son <strong>John Sanders<\/strong> if she should have ocation or Like soe to doe untill he arives to the age of twenty years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Lastly I Constitute ordain and appoint\u00a0\u00a0 my Brother<strong> Richd Sanders<\/strong> and my friend Jo.
