In the name of God Amen I ASHBURN DAVIE of Person County State of North Carolina being of mind & memory do hereby constitute, appoint this my last Will & Testament.
First It is my will & desire that all my just debts be first paid.
Secondly. It is my will & desire that my wife ELIZABETH PATTERN DAVIE have the use of all my property real & personal to support and school my children during her widowhood or the manage of my son EZEKIEL or as long as any of my Children continues single. But should she marry or when EZEKIEL arrives at the age of Twenty one, or when any of my children marry then it is my will & desire that all my Estate real & personal be equally divided between my said wife and my children after she takes her choice of any one of my Negroes which shall be hers also. It is further my will that when a division takes place the portion of those not arrived at the age of Twenty one or who may not be married be put together again and divide again as they marry or come of age.
Lastly. I also hereby constitute & appoint my wife ELIZABETH DAVIE Executrix and GABRIEL DAVIE son of WILLIAM DAVIE Executor to this my last Will & Testament. Given under my hand & seal this 21st day of November Anno Dom 1806.

In the Name of God Amen, I SOLOMON DRAPER SEN'R of the County of Person & State of North Carolina being at this time of sound mind & disposing memory do make & constitute this my last Will & Testament, viz,
Item.  I lend to my beloved wife ELIZABETH DRAPER during her natural life or widowhood, all my land, stock of all kinds, household & kitchen furniture & plantation tools of every kind & a Negro woman named AGGA & should said Negro AGGA outlive her Mistress it is my will & desire that she shall then be free. The whole of the property lended my wife besides AGGA it is my will at my wife's death it shall be sold & the property or amount thereof equally divided between my children or their heirs under the same restrictions as the other property hereafter given or lended to them shall be.
Item.  I give & bequeath to my son WILLIAM DRAPER two Negro men named BILLYBACON & BOB to him & his heirs forever.
Item.  I give to my son SOLOMON DRAPER two other Negro men named JERRY & WILL to him & his heirs forever.
Item.  I lend to my daughter FRANCES ROYSTER the following Negroes under the following restrictions, to wit, AMY & the four children that she now has & their increase & also FILLIS for her use & benefit during her life & at her death to be equally divided between her children lawfully begotten And it is my express will that the property left for the use & benefit of my said daughter FRANCES shall not be at the disposal of her husband HENRY ROYSTER or liable to the payment of any of his debts contracts or engagements of any kind, in any manner or shape whatever & should my said daughter FRANCES due before her said husband HENRY in that case it is my express will that my Executor if living if not some person appointed by Court shall take possession of the property lended her, I hire out or put to interest as he or they may think proper for the use & benefit of the children of my said daughter FRANCES till they come of age.
Item.  I give & bequeath to my daughter ELIZABETH ROYSTER the following Negroes POLLEY & WINNY & the two children POLLEY now has & their increase to her & her heirs forever.
Item. Should I possess any other property not already or heretofore bequeathed or disposed of it is my will that it with all the residue of my Estate not heretofore mentioned after paying all my just debts be left to my wife with same manner & at her death to be disposed of in tie same way with the property in the first Item of this my Will.
Lastly. I do appoint & constitute my two sons WILLIAM DRAPER & SOLOMON DRAPER & my friend SAM'L SMITH my Executors to this my last Will & Testament. In witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand & affix my seal this 24 day of Sept. 1806. Signed Sealed & acknowledged in presence of us.

In the name of God Amen, I PHILIP HALL SEN'R of Person County and State of North Carolina being aged & infirm in body but of sound mind & memory do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament revoking and disallowing all former wills & every will by me heretofore made In manner & form following (to wit) First I desire to resign my Soul to the Guardian care of Almighty God the author thereof and recommend my body after death to the dust from whence it came and a decent burial
Item.  My Will and desire is and I do give and bequeath to my beloved wife ANN my Negroe woman SARAH, one bed and furniture, one cow & calf
Item.  I give & bequeath to my son PHILIP one hundred acres of land to be taken off the old tract including that whereon he now lives & taken off adjoining CAPTAIN WILLIAM COCKS land.
Item.  I give and bequeath to my son WILLIAM all of that part of my land whereon I now live which lies on the west side of the Creek to be bounded by ROBERT STANFIELD on the south, by said Creek on the east and by that part above bequeathed to my son PHILIP on the north.
Item.  I give & bequeath to my daughter MARY all of that part of the tract of land whereon I live which lies on the east side of the creek & bounded on the north by the line of the Old Tract whereon HENDRIX formerly lived & on the south by ROBERT STANFIELD & JOHN COOPER on the east also all of my plantation tools & two cows & calves and all my stock of sheep & hogs
Item.  My will and desire is that the remaining part of my tract of land whereon HENDRIX formerly lived after laying off the hundred acres to my son PHILIP as before mentioned be sold by my Executors herein after named together with the Mill and also my Negro fellow WILL together with all the balance of my Estate not particularly bequeathed to the highest bidder and money arising therefrom to be equally divided after paying all my just if any, between my sons JOHN, JAMES, ISAAC, & my daughter ELIZABETH ATKINSON.
And Lastly. My will & desire is and I do hereby constitute ordain & appoint my son PHILIP HALL & JAMES COCHRAN my whole & sole Executors to this my last Will & Testament. In testimony whereof I the said PHILIP HALL SEN'R have hereunto set my hand & caused my seal to be affixed thereto this sixth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred & Six.

In the Name of God Amen, I PAUL HARALSON of the County of Person & State of North Carolina begin in perfect health & of sound mind and memory but being very ancient and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will & Testament.
Item. I lend unto my beloved wife NANNY HARALSON the House and Plantation whereon I now live together with all the Negroes I now possess, namely LUCY, BUCK, MILLY, JACK and also all the stock, kitchen & household furniture & the plantation tools during her natural life.
Item. I will that all the property which I have delivered to my several children at their marriage & otherwise & which they have now in possession be vested in them, their heirs & assigns forever.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my six sons namely HERNDON. JAMES, PAUL,, JONATHAN, DAVID & ABNER the tract of land whereon I now live joyning the lines of JAMES BARNETT, CHAMBERS, EZEKIEL HARALSON, JOHN ROGERS & others supposed to contain Five Hundred & Twenty Eight acres to be equally divided between them according to quantity & quality to them, their heirs & assigns forever.
Item. I give & bequeath unto my six sons also namely HERNDON, JAMES, PAUL, JONATHAN, DAVID & ABNER al the male Negroes belonging to my Estate after the death of my wife & also all the horses remaining to be equallyy divided between them, their heirs & assigns forever.
Item. I give & bequeath unto my four Daughters & grandsons namely, MARY ANN HUSTON, AGNES BARNETT, FANNY NEELEY & UNICE WALKER and HOMER RAINEY all my female Negroes remaining at my wife's death together with all my stock of creatures (except the horses) to be equally divided between them by my Exec'r hereafter named to them, their heirs & assigns forever.
Item. Whereas I have given unto my son ABNER a Negro boy named DICK it is my will & desire that he pay unto my five sons HERNDON, JAMES, PAUL, JONATHAN, & DAVID the value of that Negro at my death out of the lands in which I now possess and in which he will have the sixth part payable as soon as a division takes place after my wife's death provided he lives but should he die he is to share equal with his five brothers in the land.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my three sons LEA, MAJOR, & VINCENT HARALSON and also my son in law WILLIAM RAINEY the sum of Twenty shillings currency to be delivered to them at my wife's death, to them, their heirs & assigns forever.
Item. It is my will and desire that all the remainder of my Estate consisting of the Plantation tools, household & kitchen furniture and of every other kind whatever be equally divided between my six sons, four daughters and grandson namelyy MARY ANN HUSTON, HERNDON HARALSON, JAMES HARALSON, PAUL HARALSON, JONATHAN HARALSON, DAVIS HARALSON, ABNER HARALSON, AGNES BARNETT, FANNY NEELEY, UNICE WALKER & HOMER RAINEY to them their heirs & assigns.
It is my will & I do order that my just debts be paid by all my legatees in equal proportion (except my three sons & son in law) namely LEA HARALSON, MAJOR HARALSON, VINCENT HARALSON & WILLIAM RAINEY.
Lastly, I nominate, constitute & appoint my sons HERNDON HARALSON & ABNER HARALSON my whole & sole Exec'r to carry this my last Will & Testament into Execution hereby revoking & disallowing all other and former Wills by me make ratifying & confirming this & no other to be my last Will & Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my seal this ninth day of February in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred & three

In the Name of God Amen this Seventh of January in the Year of our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred & five I AMBROSE JONES of the County of person & state of North Carolina being weak in body but of sound memory & perfect understanding & knowing that it is appointed for men once to die do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament as follows, to wit,
Item. My will & desire is that my beloved wife LUCY JONES shall have & peacibly enjoy the tract of land that I bought of WILLIAM BAIRD that the said BAIRD bought of J. DANIEL containing three Hundred & Twenty acres also her choice Negro, als a bay mare called Fly, Three cows, five sheep, fifteen hogs, one bed & furniture, during her natural life then to be sold & equally to be divided amongst my children.
Item. My will is further that my son WILLEY born before wedlock shall have an equal share of my Estate both real & personal with the rest of my children.
Item. My will further is that after my just debts is paid that the debts due me to be collected & apply'd to the use of paying my children as they become of age the legacy left them by their grandfather if sufficient if not the balance of my Estate both real & personal shall be equally divided amongst my children WILEY my son to be included with the rest as before mentioned share & share alike. And lastly my will & desire is that my half brother THOMAS HALLIBURTON shall act s my whole & sole executor to this my last Will & Testament as witness my hand and seal the day & date above written.

Item,  I Give & bequeath to my son FRANCIS LAWSON, the land he now lives on containing one hundred and thirty six acres, and one Negro man named TIM to him and his heirs forever.
Item.  I give to my son JOHN LAWSON two hundred and fifty acres of land, whereon he now lives, and one Negro man named ABB, to him and his heirs forever.
Item.  I give to my daughter NANCY STREET, one Negro girl named SARAH, to her and the heirs of her body begotten by WILLIAM STREET, to them and their heirs forever.
I also Lend to my daughter NANCY STREET one Negro woman named COOBER & her three children JACOB, BILL & WINNE & all their increase during her natural life. Item. I give to my daughter ELIZABETH HARRIS one Negro woman named HANNAH, & her increase, both of them to her and her heirs forever.
Item. I give to my son JAMES LAWSON, five hundred dollars in lieu of land which he has received & one Negro fellow named NAT, & one horse called Peter to him and his heirs forever.
Item. I give to my son WILLIAM LAWSON five hundred dollars which he has received in lieu of land, and one Negro fellow named SCOTT & the smith tools to him and his heirs forever.
Item. I give to my daughter SARAH LAWSON, one Negro woman named PHILLIS & one Negro girl named JINNY and their increase, to her & her heirs forever.
Also one feather bed & furniture, one cow & calf and one beast saddle & bridle.
Item. I give to my son THOMAS LAWSON the land whereon I now live at his mother's death containing four hundred and thirteen acres, more or less, & two Negro boys named JOE & EDMUND & one feather bed and furniture, one cow and calf, & one mare saddle & bridle & one still to him and his heirs forever.
Item. I give to my daughter ISABELLA LAWSON, three Negroes, to wit, DILIE, JACOB & ROSE, one feather bed & furniture, one cow & calf & one horse saddle and bridle to her and her heirs forever.
My Will and desire is that my Negroes TIM, ABB, NAT, SCOTT, JOE, EDMUND, DILIE, JACOB & ROSE & PHILLIS and DANIEL & FLORA & BETT & the land I live on, I lend to my beloved wife, during her natural life or widowhood & in case of either of the legatees to have their respective legacies and the balance to wit, DANIEL, FLORA and BET together with all stock, house hold furniture, and working tools not allready given away in special legacies, at her death to be valued and put in lots & drawn for so that all my children may have an equal part of the last division to ba drawn by my executors herein mentioned, to wit, my beloved wife SARAH LAWSON Executrix and FRANCIS LAWSON & JOHN LAWSON Executors of this my last Will and Testament. Item.  I give to JEMIMA CHAMBERS ten shillings to her & her heirs forever Also I lend to JEMIMA CHAMBERS and ABNER two Negroes by name JAMES & LUCY during their natural lives at their death I give the Negro JAMES to my grandson MOSES CHAMBERS to him his heirs forever the increase of the said Negro LUCY I desire to be equally divided between the children of my daughter JEMIMA CHAMBERS to them their heirs & assigns forever I give the said LUCY to my grandson MARTAIN CHAMBERS at the death of his mother to him his heirs & assigns forever.
Item.  I give to my daughter MARTHA DONALDSON & her Husband ROBERT DONALDSON ten shillings to them their heirs forever. I also lend to MARTHA & ROBERT DONALDSON one Negro boy BOB during their natural lives at their death I give the said Negro BOB to my grandson BUCKLEY DONALDSON to him his heirs & assigns forever. Also lend MARTHA & ROBERT DONALDSON one Negro woman JEAN during their natural lives at the death of MARTHA & ROBERT DONALD I give the said Negro to my grandson BARNETT DONALDSON except the increase of the said JEAN the child NED which the said JEAN has now I give to my grandson MOSES DONALDSON to him his heirs forever. Also the second child the said JEAN has I give to my grand daughter ELIZABETH MOORTON to her her heirs & assigns forever. The rest of her increase to be BARNETT DONALDSONs his heirs & assigns forever. Also lend MARTHA & ROBERT DONALDSON one Negro boy FRANK during their natural lives at their deaths I give the said Negro FRANK to my grandson THOMAS DONALDSON to him his heirs & assigns forever.
Item.  I give to my son BUCKLY WALKER one Negro woman by the name of JUNOR on conditions the heirs of JESSE WALKER decd recover by a suit in law one Negro woman & children which I sold my son BUCKLY WALKER also the bonds which he owes me for SAL & children. the said Negro JUNOR & bond of Two Hundred & Sixty Six dollars is to be good against their recovery if they do not recover SALL[sic] & two children the above bond to return to my Estate. Also I give to my son BUCKLEY WALKER the land whereon he lived begining at the line where it crosses BUCKLEY WALKER spring branch on M. FARLINGs line thence down the spring branch to Castle Creek thence a direct course crossing said creek to the mouth of the spring branch where FRANCIS WALKER lives thence up the said spring branch to the line thence north in al that part of my land where the said FRANCIS WALKER lives also all that part north of the line mentioned to him his heirs & assigns forever.
Item. I give to my wife ANNE WALKER two Negroes BEN & BET together with all my stock of all kind, household & kitchen furniture, furniture together with my land not heretofore giveaway during her widowhood & at her death or marriage I give to my daughter LEATHA WALKER all that part of my estate I have lent my wife ANNE WALKER to her heirs & assigns forever.
Item.  I give to my granddaughter DAVIE [sic] one Negro girl named ALSE & to the heirs of her body & if the said NANCY DAVIE dies without issue the said Negroes to return to my estate and sold the money arising to be equally divided amongst all my children.
Item.  My will and desire is that my two Negro boys BILLY & STEPNEY be hired out by my executors hereafter named till the suit be determined between the heirs of JESSE WALKER dec'd and myself & if the heirs recover the Negroes they have served for them the two boys to be sold with my land on the west side of Castle Creek to pay the damage recovered against my estate.
Item.  My will and desire is that my Negro woman JEAN together with part of my crop now growing be sold to pay all my just debts. I hereby constitute and appoint WILLIAM PINICK and JOHN GWIN my lawfull executors to this my last Will and Testament. In witness I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above written.

Those were in the possession of said dec'd at the time of his death whereas also by the aforesaid deceased about Fifteen years past agreeable to the information that I have had Two Slaves lent unto his daughter, MARTHA DONALDSON and ROBERT DONALDSON her husband by the names of JINNY & ROBERT and hath increased one, at the same time he lent unto his daughter ELIZABETH BULL & JACOB BULL her husband Two Negroes by the name of JOE & BET they hath increased one. At the same time he lent unto his daughter JEMIMA CHAMBERS & ABNER CHAMBERS her husband Two Negroes by the name of JIM & LUCY & they hath increased one, at the same time he lent his son BUCKLEY WALKER Two Negroes by the names of JANE & NED, also he lent about Five years past one Negro girl to is granddaughter NANCY DAVIE & GABRIEL DAVIE her husband by the name of ELCE & by his Will he did conditionally give her to granddaughter, (also includes a list of household goods, etc.)

In the Name of God Amen I SAMUEL WINSTEAD of Person County, North Carolina, being very low & weak in body but in perfect mind as usual and calling to mine the certainty of death and uncertainty of life, make this my last Will and Testament (to wit) After all my just debts are paid it is my will and desire that my wife ELIZABETH WINSTEAD have during her natural life the use of the land and plantation whereon I now live. Also the following Negroes, JO, OLIVER, NAT, SOLOMON, ISBEL, GLASGOW and DEVENPORT. also my stock of all kinds together with all my household & kitchen furniture and plantation tools with all the crop made on my plantation in the year of one thousand eight hundred & five.
My will is that my Negro BAT be sold and the money arising from such sale be paid to my wife ELIZABETH WINSTEAD for her own proper use.
I give to my son COUTANCE WINSTEAD a bond now in my possession against BENJAMIN VESTAL also the land & plantation I now live on and one cubbard at the death of his mother ELIZABETH WINSTEAD to him and his Heirs forever.
I give to my grandson BARNET WINSTEAD, son of CHARLES WINSTEAD one bed and furniture at his Grand mother's death.
Now it is my will at the death of my wife ELIZABETH WINSTEAD all the property I have lent her and not otherwise given away be equally divided between COUTANCE WINSTEAD, MANLY WINSTEAD, SUSANNAH SELF, ELIZABETH DAVEY, AILEY YANCY, JOHN WINSTEAD & CHARLES WINSTEAD & if either of them die before their Mother such part as would have fell to them of my estate my will is shall go to the heirs of any of my children that may die before my wife ELIZABETH WINSTEAD.
I do hereby constitute and appoint ELIZABETH WINSTEAD & COUTANCE WINSTEAD Executors of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand & affix my seal this 17th day of October 1805.
