Know all Men by these Presents, that we Nathan<\/span><\/p>\n

Godwin and Cornelius Laitham Jun ________________<\/span><\/p>\n

are held and firmly bound unto Benjamin Williams _____<\/span><\/p>\n

_______________ Esquire, Governor, &c. or his Successors in Office,<\/span><\/p>\n

in the full Sum of Five Hundred Pounds, Current Money, to be paid to the said<\/span><\/p>\n

Governor, his Successors or Assigns, for the which payment well and truly to be<\/span><\/p>\n

made and done, we bind ourselves, our Heirs, Executors and Administrators,<\/span><\/p>\n

jointly and severally, firmly by these Presents, sealed with our Seals, and dated<\/span><\/p>\n

this 10th Day of November Anno Domini 1801<\/span><\/p>\n

THE Condition of the above Obligation is such, that whereas the above<\/span><\/p>\n

bounden Nathan Godwin hath made application for a Licence for Mar-<\/span><\/p>\n

riage to be celebrated between him and Sarah Laitham of the County afore-<\/span><\/p>\n

said: Now, in case it shall not appear hereafter, that there is any lawful Cause or<\/span><\/p>\n

Impediment to obstruct the said Marriage, then the above Obligation to be void;<\/span><\/p>\n

otherwise to remain in full Force and Virtue.<\/span><\/p>\n
