1. Christopher Millikin (Jan. 29, 1869 - Sep. 12, 1938) - Son of Elbridge Millikin and Jane Long. Christopher married Rosa Nellie Dawkins (Feb. 14, 1864 - Aug. 31, 1902), a daughter of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. Rosa Nellie died of complications from childbirth with her daughter Rosa Nellie Millikin. Rosa Nellie Millikin died Sept. 30, 1902. They are both buried side by side at St. Paul's Church Cemetery on Sandhill Road, South of Rockingham, North Carolina. Rosa's tombstone is inscribed: "Again I hope to meet thee when my day in life is fled. Then in heaven with joy I'll greet thee where no farewell tear is shed - Gone but not forgotten". After Rosa's death Christopher married Mary B. Woodward (Jun. 1, 1875 - Mar. 1, 1936). Christopher and Mary are buried in the Millikin Family Cemetery located at Rockingham RR & N. C. Hwy. # 204 near Hamlet, N C. 2. Robert "Bob" Wilson (Aug. 1, 1877 - Jun. 4, 1947) - Son of George Washington Wilson and Frances "Fannie" Malinda Christianbury. Robert married Susie Dawkins (Mar. 28, 1879 - Jan. 2, 1959), a daughter of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. Robert is a brother of Ella Angeline Wilson who married Henry Harrison Dawkins, a brother of Robert's wife Susie Dawkins. Robert and Susie are buried in the Eastside Cemetery on Fayetteville Road, Rockingham, North Carolina. 3.Eleanor "Ella" Angeline Wilson (Oct. 8, 1876 - Sep. 10, 1928 - Daughter of George Washington Wilson and Frances "Fannie" Malinda Christianbury. Ella married Henry Harrison Dawkins (Sep. 22, 1876 - Dec. 9, 1939) - Son of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. Eleanor is a sister of Robert Wilson who married Henry's sister Susan Dawkins. Eleanor and Henry are buried in the Mt. Beulah Cemetery, Rockingham, North Carolina. 4. Henry Harrison Dawkins (Sep. 22, 1876 - Dec. 9, 1939) - Son of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. Henry married Eleanor "Ella" Angeline Wilson (Oct. 8, 1876 - Sep. 10, 1928) - Daughter of George W. Wilson and Malinda "Fannie" LNU. Eleanor is a sister of Robert Wilson who married Henry's sister Susan Dawkins. Henry and Eleanor are buried in the Mt. Beulah Cemetery, Rockingham, North Carolina. 5. Lonnie Boyd Wilson (Twin) (Feb. 3, 1907 - Feb. 1, 1964) - Son of Robert Wilson and Susan Dawkins. Lonnie married Frances Grace Stogner (Mar. 8, 1911 - Aug. 2, 1983) - Daughter of Lewis T. Stogner and Lucy Margarite (LNU). Lonnie and Frances are buried in the Eastside Cemetery on Fayetteville Road, Rockingham, North Carolina. 6. (Twin) Robert Boyd Wilson (Feb. 3, 1907 - Feb. 24, 1986) - Son of Robert Wilson and Susan Dawkins. Robert married Lila M. (LNU) (Oct. 26, 1907 - Aug. 6, 1993). Robert and Lila are buried in the Eastside Cemetery on Fayetteville Road, Rockingham, North Carolina. 7. Susan "Susie" R. Wilson ( abt 1913 - ) - Daughter of Robert Wilson and Susan Dawkins. 8. William Henry Goodwin (May 29, 1909 - Dec. 12, 1989) - A son of Ebenezer Oscar Goodwin and Minnie Lee Dawkins. William is buried in Ormond, Florida. 9. Sara Elizabeth McRae (Dec. 10, 1906 - still living on Apr. 15, 2007) - Daughter of William Henry McRae and Sarah Jane Dawkins. Sara married Tracey Odell Reynolds (Feb. 12, 1910 - Apr. 30, 1952) - Son of Neil Henry Reynolds, Sr. and Mary Phifer. Tracy is the brother of Earl Osborne Reynolds who married Sara's sister, Mary Catherine McRae. Sara was responsible for naming all but 2 people in this picture when she was 94 years of age. I attended her 100th birthday this past December. Her husband Tracey is buried in Eastside Cemetery on Fayetteville Road, Rockingham, North Carolina. 10. Willie Belle McRae (Oct. 19, 1903 - April 10, 2007) (at 103 ½ years old) - Daughter of William Henry McRae and Sarah Jane Dawkins. Belle married Bernie Wade Stogner, Sr. (Mar. 16, 1910 - Mar. 14, 1988) - Son of Elisha Bascom Stogner and Mary Frances Dobbins. Belle married Herbert Ether Wallace (Jul. 28, 1902 - Jul. 28, 1972) - Son of Charles Robert Wallace and Nancy Elizabeth Quick. Belle is buried in Eastside Cemetery on Fayetteville Road, Rockingham, North Carolina. Bernie is buried in the Green Lake Methodist Church Cemetery, North of Rockingham, Richmond County, North Carolina. Herbert is buried in the Ellerbe City Cemetery, Ellerbe, Richmond County, North Carolina. 11. Mary Catherine McRae (Nov. 30, 1908 - Nov. 9, 1998) - Daughter of William Henry McRae and Sarah Jane Dawkins. Catherine married Earl Osborne Reynolds (Apr. 26, 1908 - May 28, 1967) - Son of Neil Henry Reynolds, Sr. and Mary Phifer. Earl is a brother of Tracey Odell Reynolds who married Mary Catherine's sister Sara Elizabeth Reynolds. Mary Catherine and Earl are buried in the Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery, Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. 12. Annie Jane Dawkins (Dec. 31, 1904 - Nov. 8, 1990) - Daughter of Henry Harrison Dawkins and Eleanor Angeline Wilson. Annie married Daniel Archibald Snead (Mar. 24, 1887 - Mar. 27, 1967) - Son of Daniel Priest Snead and Julia Margaret Adams. Annie and Daniel are buried in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery on Sandhill Road, South of Rockingham, North Carolina. 13. Ruby Catherine Dawkins (Oct. 31, 1907 - ???? ) - Daughter of Henry Harrison Dawkins and Eleanor Angeline Wilson. Ruby married Vernon D. Norton (Feb. 16, 1907 - Jul. 25, 1980) - Son of Sedberry Norton and Julia Frances Smith. V ernon is buried in the Richmond Memorial Park Cemetery on Hwy. # 74, Rockingham, North Carolina. 14. Koy Leo Dawkins (Oct. 27, 1909 - Oct. 7, 1986) - Son of Henry Harrison Dawkins and Eleanor Angeline Wilson. Koy married Ira Gertrude Pittman (Sep. 10, 1911 - Mar. 27, 1982) - Daughter of Ira B. Pittman and Virginia Alice Hicks. Koy and Ira Gertrude are buried in the Richmond Memorial Park Cemetery, Rockingham, on Hwy. # 74, Rockingham, North Carolina. 15. Lauda Lenard Yates (Apr. 20, 1883 - Jun. 24, 1950) - Son of James D. Yates and Annie A. Broomel. He is buried in the Dawkins Family Cemetery on Yates Hill, Rockingham, North Carolina. Lauda never married. 16. William Blewett Dawkins (Oct. 8, 1845 - Feb. 3, 1931) - Son of William D. Dawkins and Jane Long. William married Lucy Catherine Yates (Jun. 24, 1851 - Mar. 16, 1932) - Daughter of John Peter Yates and Sarah Ann Diggs. They are both buried in the Dawkins Family Cemetery on Yates Hill, Rockingham, North Carolina. 17. Lucy Catherine Yates (Jun 24, 1951 - Mar. 16, 1932) - Daughter of John Peter Yates and Sarah Ann Diggs. Lucy married William Blewett Dawkins (Oct. 8, 1845 - Feb. 3, 1931) - Son of William D. Dawkins and Jane Long. They are both buried in the Dawkins Family Cemetery on Yates Hill, Rockingham, North Carolina. 18. Nell "Nellie" Yates (Mar. 13, 1896 - Feb. 27, 1998) - Daughter of John Wesley Yates and Margaret Stogner. Nellie married Carl C. Crouch (Feb. 23, 1894 - Sep. 9, 1938) - Son of Christopher Columbus Crouch and Sarah E. (LNU). They are both buried in Bear Branch Cemetery, between Roberdel and, North Carolina. John Wesley Yates is a brother of Lucy Catherine Yates. 19. Unknown - This child is not the Child of Nellie Yates who is holding him. Reseach has shown that Nellie never had any children. As yet, I have been unable to identify the child and who the parents are. 20. Lillie Ann Dawkins (Feb. 14, 1878 - Jan. 31, 1941 - Daughter of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. Lillie is the second wife of Henry Berry Hammond (Sep. 9, 1863 - Sep. 4, 1936) - Son of John Berry Hammond and Unknown. Henry had previously married Lillie's sister Ida Mary Dawkins. Henry and Lillie are buried in the Green Lake Methodist Church Cemetery North of Rockingham, Richmond County, North Carolina. Henry first married Ida Mary Dawkins (Jul. 17, 1894 - Apr. 21, 1896) - Daughter of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates and a sister of his second wife Lillie Ann Dawkins. Ida Mary is buried in the St. Paul Methodist Church Cemetery on Sandhill Road South of Rockingham, North Carolina. 21. Sarah Jane "Jennie" Dawkins (Feb. 26, 1870 - Sep. 24, 1966) - Daughter of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. Jennie married William Henry McRae (Jan. 17, 1861 - Mar. 14, 1927) - Son of William Berrygrove McRae and Mary Ellen Deas. Sarah Jane is buried in Eastside Cemetery, on Fayetteville Road, Rockingham, NC. William was originally buried in Bear Branch Cemetery, but was moved and buried with Sarah Jane after her death and he is now buried in the Eastside Cemetery, on Fayetteville Road, Rockingham, North Carolina. 22. Henry Hunter McRae (Oct. 10, 1911 - Jan. 16, 2003) - Son of William Henry McRae and Sarah Jane Dawkins. Henry married Gladys Louise Wicker (Feb. 27, 1917 - May 2, 2004) - Daughter of William Coleman Wicker, Sr. and Lula Rena Bess. Henry and Gladys are both buried in Bear Branch Cemetery between Roberdel and Ellerbe, North Carolina. 23. Gladys Louise Goodwin (Nov. 22, 1911 - Living) - Daughter of Ebenezer Oscar Goodwin and Minnie Lee Dawkins. Gladys married Wade Nathan Harris (Nov. 1, 1910 - Aug. 26, 1988) 24. Ebenezer Oscag Goodwin (Jul. 21, 1885 - 1955) - Son of Ebenezer N. Goodwin and Rebecca J. Hicks. Ebenezer married Minnie Lee Dawkins (Jul. 14, 1886 - Nov. 15, 1968) - Daughter of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. Ebenezer is buried in the LaFayette Cemetery on Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC. Minnie is buried in the Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson, North Carolina. 25. Minnie Lee Dawkins (Jul. 14, 1886 - Nov. 15, 1968 - Daughter of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. Minnie married Ebenezer Oscar Goodwin (Jul. 21, 1885 - 1955) _ Son of Ebenezer N. Goodwin and Rebecca J. Hicks. Minnie is buried in the Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson, NC. Ebenezer is buried in the LaFayette Cemetery on Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC. 26. Annie Lee McRae (Jan. 16, 1893 - Jan. 13, 1970) - Daughter of William Henry McRae and Sarah Jane Dawkins. Annie married John Ernest Ussery (Nov. 11, 1891 - Apr. 14, 1968) - Son of Robert Lee Ussery and his 1st wife Charity Ettie Sanford. Annie and John are buried in the Richmond Memorial Park Cemetery on Hwy. # 74, Rockingham, North Carolina. Annie's sister Maggie Estella McRae (see # 35) married Robert Roy Ussery, a brother of John Ernest Ussery. Annie is my paternal grandmother. 27. Catherine "Kate" Dawkins (Sep. 9, 1890 - Nov. 7, 1960) - Daughter of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. Catherine never married. She is buried in the Dawkins Family Cemetery on Yates Hill, Rockingham, North Carolina. 28. Elizabeth "Lizzie" Dawkins (Mar. 22, 1892 - Jan. 11, 1948) - Daughter of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. Elizabeth never married. She is buried in the Dawkins Family Cemetery on Yates Hill, Rockingham, North Carolina. 29. Clifton "Cliff" LaFayette Yates (Jun. 6, 1893 - Jan. 21, 1951) - Son of Isaac Douglas Yates and Bloomers Mae Andrews. Cliff married Rosa Belle Seawell (Jul. 1, 1898 - Feb. 7, 1974) - Daughter of Josiah S. Seawell and Sarah P. Stutts. Clifton and Rosa are buried in the Eastside Cemetery, Rockingham, North Carolina. Isaac Douglas Yates is a brother of Lucy Catherine Yates. 30. Mattie Lee Yates (Aug. 1893 - ????) - Daughter of William Edward Yates and Frances L. LNU. William Edward Yates is a brother of Lucy Catherine Yates. 31. Sarah "Sallie" Hammond (Circa 1903 - ????) - Daughter of Henry Berry Hammond and his 2nd wife Lillie Ann Dawkins. 32. (Twin) Nellie Gertrude Dawkins (Nov. 26, 1900 - Nov. 11, 1987) - Daughter of Henry Harrison Dawkins and Eleanor Angeline Wilson). She married Cleveland Cox (no data). Nellie is buried in the Richmond Memorial Park Cemetery on Hwy. #74 in Rockingham, North Carolina. 33. Dora Nell McRae (Nov. 23, 1900 - Sep. 15, 1985) - Daughter of William Henry McRae and Sarah Jane Dawkins. She married John Monroe Snead (Jul. 26, 1895 - Jan. 13, 1972) - Son of Daniel Priest Snead and Julia Margaret Adams. Dora and John are both buried in the Richmond Memorial Park Cemetery on Hwy. # 74 in Rockingham, North Carolina. 34. Ida Mae Hammond (Jul. 29, 1900 - Nov. 13, 1989) - Daughter of Henry Berry Hammond and his 2nd wife Lillie Ann Dawkins. She married Crawford Paul Dawkins (Oct. 8, 1895 - Dec. 30, 1895) - Son of Commodore Perry Dawkins and Martha Evaline Lancaster. Ida and Crawford are buried in Raleigh, North Carolina. 35. Maggie Estella McRae (Aug. 7, 1898 - Oct. 21, 1988) - Daughter of William Henry McRae and Sarah Jane Dawkins. She married Robert Roy Ussery (Oct. 15, 1893 - Sep 14, 1972) - Son of Robert Lee Ussery and his 1st wife Charity Ettie Sanford. Maggie and Roy are buried in the Richmond Memorial Park Cemetery on Hwy. # 74 in Rockingham, North Carolina. Maggie's sister Annie Lee McRae (see # 26) married John Ernest Ussery, a brother to Robert Roy Ussery. 36. Susie Dawkins (Mar. 28, 1879 - Jan. 2, 1959) - Daughter of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. She married Robert A. Wilson (Aug 1, 1877 - Jun 4, 1947) - Son of George Washington Wilson and Frances "Fannie" Malinda Christianbury. Susie and Robert are buried in the Eastside Cemetery on Fayetteville Road in Rockingham, North Carolina. 37. Lillian C. Wilson (circa 1914 - ????) - Daughter of Robert A. Wilson and Susie Dawkins. Lillian married FNU Ormsby. 38. William Henry McRae (Jan, 13, 1861 - Mar. 14, 1927) - Son of William Berrygrove McRae and Mary Ellen Deas. William married Sarah "Jennie"Jane Dawkins (Feb. 26, 1870 - Sep. 24, 1966) - Daughter of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. William was first buried in Bear Branch Cemetery. He was moved after the death of his wife Jennie Dawkins McRae and both are buried in Eastside Cemetery on Fayetteville Road in Rockingham, North Carolina. Henry's old tombstone is still at Bear Branch Cemetery, it was to large to move and it also marks the grave of his sister Aggie McRae. 39. James "Bill" William Dawkins (Feb. 14, 1894 - Apr. 21, 1988) - Son of William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates. James married Florence "Essie" Estella Todd (July 1, 1896 - Jun 29, 1987) - Daughter of George Huggins Todd and Cornelia F. Moody. James and Essie are buried in the Richmond Memorial Park Cemetery on Hwy. # 74 in Rockingham, North Carolina. 40. John "Brom" Brommel Yates (Feb. 4, 1888 - Sep. 20, 1979) - Son of James D. Yates and Annie A. Brommel. Brom married Rosa G. LNU (Circa 1895 - ????). Brom is buried in Eastside Cemetery on Fayetteville Road, Rockingham, North Carolina. 41. John William Hammond (Feb. 22, 1895 - Jun. 5, 1961) - Son of Henry Berry Hammon and his 1st wife, Ida Mary Dawkins. John is buried in Greenlake Methodist Church Cemetery near Exway, North Carolina. I have no record of John ever having married. This picture is very special to me. I have one set of great great grandparents (William Blewett Dawkins and Lucy Catherine Yates); one set of great grandparents (William Henry McRae and Sarah "Jenny" Jane Dawkins); and my paternal grandmother (Annie Lee McRae Ussery).
