daughter of LINDSEY PHILLIPS and LUCY.  She was born January 24, 1831 in Chatham County, NC, and died August 08, 1882.

Daniel Thompson 19; and John C. Thompson 25. Several other black turpentine workers were from NC.

Her love for music and her abounding patience endeared her to her students. She was indeed a lovely lady. (Myrtle Norton Bridges was
