The Gibson Family 1912 - Top Row (L-R): Mary Alice Gibson (Braswell), William Lawrence Gibson, Effie Jane Jackson Gibson,
and Lena Belle Gibson (Bundy). Second Row: Holland Monroe Gibson, Noah Melvin Gibson, Lawrence Everett Gibson, and
Lula Ethel Gibson (Billingsley). Third Row: Nancy Jane Gibson (a cousin), Cora Lee Gibson, Thelma Ruth Gibson (Gibson)
and Lewis Campbell (a friend of the family). The last child of the Gibson's Berenice Vivian Gibson (Lassiter) wasn't born
until 1915. This picture was taken in front of the Gibson Homeplace, originally a two room log cabin built around 1845 which
was expanded as the family grew. Since the 1840's a member of the Gibson family has lived in the home until today.
