This indenture made this tenth day of ?? 1797
between William Huddleston of the county of
Rutherford and state of North Carolina of the one
part Isaac Sellers of the county and state
aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said
William Huddleston doth hereby acknowledge before
the signing and delivering of these presents hath
bargained, sold allinated conveyed and confirmed and
by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien
enfeoff convey and confirm unto the said Isaac
Sellers his heirs and assigns forever a certain
tract ?? parcel of land situate lying and being in
the County and State aforesaid and bounded as
follows, viz. beginning at a large white oak on top
of a ridge ??? near the old line thence a straight
course to a sycamore saplin on the bank of the creek
thence up the creek with the meanders thereof to the
old ??? line thence along the old line to the old
original beginning ??? supposed to contain
twentyfive acres more or less, thence his new ???
vey on the south side of Cain Creek forming James
Houghey entry ?? south side and his own land,
beginning at his own white oak corner running thence
with his own line South 20 West 180 poles to a stake
thence South 70 East 90 poles to a pine thence north
20 east 167 poles to a post oak said Hugheys line
thence with said line to the beginning, containing
??? hundred acres more or less, with the
appurtainances thereunto ??? or appertaining
together with all and singular the rights and
privileges, hereditaments and possessions in anywise
belonging or appertaining unto the said land and
premises unto the said Isaac Sellers his heirs and
assigns forever and the said William Huddleston for
himself his heirs and excrs, admins & assigns doth
by these presents warrant and defend the said land
and premises from himself his heirs and assigns and
all other persons whatsoever claiming the same unto
the said Isaac Sellers his heirs exrs, admrs or
assigns forever in fee simple, to have and to hold
the said land and premises unto the said Isaac
Sellers his heirs and assigns according to the true
intent and meaning of these presents. In witness
whereof the said William Huddleston hath set his
hand ?? sealed the day and year first above written.
P.S. the said Isaac Sellers is not sell the said
lands while said William Huddleston or his wife
Elizabeth lives, ?? their place without leave.
