This Indenture made the 12 Day of October 1802
between Wm Hudaleston of Rutherford County & State
of North Carolina of the one part & Elijah
Blankinship of the County & State aforesaid of the
other part, witnesseth that for & in consideration
of the sum of Nine Dollars to him in hand paid
before the sealing & delivering of these presents
the said Wm Hudleston, hath given and granted
bargained & sold & by these presents do give grant
bargain & sell alien convey & confirm unto the said
Elijah Blankinship a ertain tract or parcel of land
containing three acres beginning at a small gum on
Wm. Huddleston line from thence a conditional line
to a sicomore on the Bank of the Crek thence up the
Meanders of the Creek to Hugheys line, thence along
said to the beginning containing by estimation three
acres be the same more or less with the
appertainance situate lying & being in the County of
Ruthereford on Cain Creek, together with all the ??
woods waters mines minerals hereditaments &

Blankenship his heirs and assigns forever & the said
Wm. Huddleston himself his heirs & assigns will
warrant & for ever defend the above granted land &
premises to the said Elijah Blankenship his heirs
and assigns for ever. In Witness where of the Wm.
Huddleston doth here unto set his hand & seal the
Day and year above Written.
