1943 OBITUARIES
Rutherfordton, Dec.16- MRS. LANEY PADGETT, 67, died at her home near Racepath Baptist church last night
after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at Racepath church of which she was a charter member. She
is the last of her family and is survived by her husband SYDNEY R. PADGETT and
2 sons, A.L. PADGETT,
Newton and A.W. PADGETT of Camden, S.C. She was born
and reared in SOUTH CAROLINA.
