1943 OBITUARIES
Spindale, Dec.25- VERNIE LIGIH YELTON, 51, died at his home in Spindale last night following an illness
of several weeks. He was a machinist for Spindale Mill company.
MR. YELTON moved here from Clinton, S.C. about 13 months ago.
Surviving are his wife, MRS. LOUISE YELTON; a son, HAROLD YELTON; his father, E.E.
YELTON of Westminister; a brother, B.F. YELTON , near Spindale; and 5 sisters,
MRS. L.T. HAMRICK, Swannanoa, MRS. CLETUS MORGAN, Westminister, MRS. LENDA
CALLAHAN, Greenwood, S.C., and MRS. ROMEY GREEN and MRS. W.Z. GUSSEY, both
of Sandy Mush.
Funeral services will be conducted at the First Baptist church of Spindale.
