Alexander, Agnes, 1822
Petition July Term 1822 by Elizabeth Davenport stating that Agnes Alexander died intestate seized and possessed of a tract of land containing fifty acres more or less joining the lands of Elizabeth Davenport, Major Brickhouse & Isaac Davenport's heirs. It descended to the children and heirs at law of the said Agnes, to wit Rachel the wife of Willis Sawyer, Jesse & Enoch Alexander. Petitioner purchased of the said Willis Sawyer and his wife Rachel their share of said land and the two other heirs sold their shares to Amariah Biggs. Petitioner has requested of Amariah Biggs that he agree to division of her share of the 50 acres but he refuses to do so. Petitioner requests a court order for partition of this land.
Summons issued 18 Jul 1822 to the Sheriff of Washington County for Amariah Biggs to appear at September Term next to answer the petition of Elizabeth Davenport.
