July Session 1804

Ordered that Isaac Alexander have leave of administration on the estate of James Alexander deceased and hath entered into bond in the sum of five hundred pounds with Henry Alexander & Abner Alexander his securities.

Ordered that Isaac Alexander have leave to sell the chattel property of the estate of James Alexander deceased and make return to next court.

Isaac Alexander returned in court on oath an inventory of the estate of James Alexander.

October Session 1804

Isaac Alexander administrator of James Alexander returned in open court the account of sales of the property of the said James Alexander on oath amount as returned by said executor L144.13.3.

Execution dated 24 Oct 1804 and issued 20 Feb 1805 directed against the estate of James Alexander deceased for 19 pounds, 1 shilling & 6 pence adjudged in favor of Mariam Mann for two years maintenance of a child, lying in & court costs.

Summons dated 30 Jan 1806 for Isaac Alexander administrator of James Alexander deceased and Samuel Spruil Esqr. & John Alexander, securities for the maintenance of a bastard child begotten on the body of Mariam Mann by the said James Alexander, to show cause why execution should not issue against them in favor of the said Mariam Mann who has since intermarried with Davis Basnight.

Execution issued 15 Dec 1808 against Davis Basnight and wife in which the administrator of James Alexander deceased reovered his court costs in a suit between the two parties.
