Ordered that Joshua Alexander have leave of administration on the estate of his deceased wife Milley Alexander and has given bond in the sum of one thousand pounds Colo. Jesse Alexander and Peter Marriner Senr. his securities.

Tyrrell County marriage bonds show the marriage of Amelia Ansley to Joshua Alexander on 13 Dec 1802, James Ambrose security; also the marriage of Joshua Alexander to Comfort Hooker on 2 Jun 1812, Cornelius Alexander security (possibly a second marriage for Joshua Alexander).
The fact that Milley Alexander had an estate of her own indicates she may have had a previous marriage.
