Transcriber's Notes:
Thomas Barnes is the son of William Barnes, and Stephen & James Barnes are his brothers. John Alexander was married to their sister,
Ann Barnes. Thomas Barnes and his brothers were all living in Pasquotank County at the time of Thomas' death.
