Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
January Session 1808
Ordered that Silby Patrick have leave of administration on the estate of William Basnight Junr. deceased and has given bond in the sum of 1,000 pounds Isaac Patrick Ava Smith & Maxey Davis his securities.
Ordered that Samuel Spruill Esqr. Henry Alexander Esqr. and Mr. Thomas Garnett be appointed to lay off to the widdow of William Basnight her years allowance out of said estate and make return.
May Session 1808
Silby Patrick returned in court the inventory and account of sales of the estate of William Basnight Junr. deceased - he also returned the widdows allowance for one year out of the above estate.
Ordered that Samuel Spruill Esqr. Thomas Garnett and Isaac Patrick be appointed to audite the accounts between the administrator and heirs of William Basnight Junr. deceased and make return to next court.
August Session 1808
Selby Patrick returns the audited accounts of William Bastnight deceased and filed.

Bond dated 27 Jan 1808 in the amount of one thousand pounds in which Silby Patrick is appointed administrator of the estate of William Basnight Junr. deceased with Asa Smith Isaac Patrick & Maxey Davis securities.
Account of sales of the remaining part of the chattle property of William Basnight Junr. deceased on 13 Feb 1808 by the administrator. Purchasers include the widow, Silby Patrick, James Owens, Thomas Devaull, John Rowton and Albridgerton Hoskins. Amount 14 pounds, 1 shilling & 8 pence.
There are also several judgements and executions against the estate of William Basnight Junr. by Isaac Alexander.
