Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
July Session 1789
Ordered that James Cohoon have leave of administration on the estate of William Cohoon deceased and give bond in 5,000 pounds Jonathan Sawyer & Russel Armstrong securities & qualifyed accordingly.
Also returns into court an inventory of the said deceased estate on oath.
Ordered that James Cohoon administrator sell as much of the perishable estate of the said deceased as will pay the deceaseds debts & make return.
October Session 1789
John Snell Deputy Sheriff exhibits into court an account of sales of part of the estate of William Cohoon deceased to amount of 152 pounds & 10 pence ordered filed.
January Session 1790
Thomas Hoskins one of the dividers of the estate of William Cohoon deceased returns into court a division of the said deceased estate ordered filed.
