CAHOON, ABEL
I Abel Cahoon North Carolina, Tyrrel County do make, and ordain this
my last Will and Testament in manner & form following Viz. I give my son
John Cohoon & Joseph Cohoon my land where I now live I give to
William Cohoons two sons James & Abel the piece of land
I bought of John Halfield- I give my son James Cahoon one gun
& one bed I give my daughter Polly one cow & calf & one ewe
& lamb I give my daughter Sally one cow & calf & one ewe and
lamb I give my daughter Charlott one cow & calf & one ewe &
lamb & one pot & one spider & one kettle & one loom & one
woollen wheel, & I leave one negro girl to be sold & the balance of my
property & equal divided between Jos. Cahoon & James
Cahoon & John Cahoon & Polly Spruill & Sally
Sitizen & Charlott Overton & William Cahoon's
children is to have ones part the part of Wm. Cahoon my lawful heirs to
them & there assigns forever whom I appoint & constitute Jos.
Cahoon & James Cahoon and John Cahoon sole exers. of this
my last Will & Testament hereby revoking all others & former Wills by me
at any time heretofore made in Witness whereof I hearunto set my hand &
seal. Signed sealed and declaired by the testator Abel Cahoon as &
for his last Will & Testament in presence of us who have subscribed our
names as witness thereto in presence of said testator
