Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
July Session 1799
Ordered that Gideon Cohoon have leave of administration on the estate of John Cohoon deceased and give bond and security in 1,000 ounds James Cohoon and Nathan Spencer securities and quallifyed accordingly.
Ordered that Gideon Cohoon administrator of John Cohoon deceased have leave to sell the perishable part of the estate of said deceased and make return to next court.
Ordered that Turner Cohoon orphan of John Cohoon be bound to Thomas Dunbar till he arrives to lawful age to learn the art and mistery of a cordwinder and said master is to learn the said apprentis to read wright and cypher as far as the rule of three.
