June 27, 1768
In the name of god amen the twenteth seven day of June in the year of our Lord god seventeen hundred and sixty eight I Jeremiah Combs of tyrel County and province of north Carolina being verey aling and in a verey low condision but in perfect mind and memerey calling to mind the moretallity of my body and knoing that it is apinted for all men once to die I do make and ordain this my last will and testment that is to say princply and first of all I give and recomend my soul into the hands of god that gave it and for my body I recommand to the earth to be buried in a Christian like maner at the descretion of my Exicters nothing douting but at the generel resurecton I shall receve the same again by the mighty power of god that gave it and touching such worlley estate were with it hath plesed god to bless me with in this life I give demise and despose unto my brother Thomas Combs all al my land and mill and all my ? estate holley and singler to him and his airs ? forever Item I will and beqeth unto my brother William Combs one shiling sterling to be levied out of my estat lastly I hear by constitute and apint my brither Thomas Combs execter and Elizabeth Combs execeter of this my last will and testiment and testimony in witness where I have hear set my hand and seal this 27 day of June 1768

Personally appeared Elizabeth Combs and made oath on the holy Evangelist of almighty God that she heard & saw
Jeremiah Combs publish and declare the within wrighting to be and contain his last will and testament and sign seal
and deliver the same and further saw at that time he was of sound and disposing memory & that Thomas Combs
signed as a witness also at that time
