Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
March Session 1752
On motion of Joseph Cone orphan of Joseph Cone late of this county deced. personally appeard. in open court and prayed that Mr. Sam Whetley be appointed his guardian which is accordingly granted and ordered that Sam Whetley give security pursuant to law and the said Samuel according enters Mathew Griffen and John Wheatley in the sum of two hundred pounds Proclamation money.
