Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
June Session 1809
Ordered that Edey Crank have leave of administration on the estate of Thomas Crank and has given bond in the sum of five hundred pounds Maxey Davis & James Handcock securities.
Ordered that John Alexander Joseph Pledger & Thomas Leigh lay off a years allowance to the widdow of Thomas Crank deceased out of the estate of said deceased & make return next court.
Edey Crank returned in court on oath the inventory & account of sales of the estate of Thomas Crank filed.
September Session 1809
Thomas Leigh Esqr. returned in court the years allowance of Edy Crank as follows viz., 5 blls corn 200 lb pork 15 lb fatt 20 lb sugar 5 lb coffee 1 1/2 bushels yapon {?} 1 1/2 galls rum 2 bushels wheat 1 bushel salt.
