Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
October Session 1781
James Basnet returned into open court the inventory of the estate of Elizabeth Davis on oath ordered to be filed.
Ordered that the sheriff sell the perishable part of the estate of Elizabeth Davis and make returns to next court.
January Session 1782
Joshua Alexander returned into open court the account of sales of the estate of Elizabeth Davis deceased ordered to be filed.
Ordered that Mr. Hezekiah Spruill take into his possession all the moneys & notes arising or belonging to the estate of Elisabeth Davis deceased in the hands of Mr. Jeremh. Fraser and make returns to next court.
January Session 1788
Col. Hezekiah Spruill trustee of the estate of Elizabeth Davis deceased exhibited his account of said deceaseds estate being examining by the court find a balance due said trustee of 7 pounds & 5 shillings also there is in the said trustees hands notes in the amount of 2 pounds, 1 shilling & 11 pence in order to discharge some debts against said estate.
