Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
October Session 1820
Administration on the estate of William Ethridge deceased was committed to Richd. Roughton and entered into bond with approved security ordered that letters of administration issue thereon and that he proceed to sell the perishable part of said estate of the said deceased and account for the same as the law directs.
Ordered that Zebulon Kemp, Thomas Weatherly Junr. and Robert Webster & Baldwin W. Hallsey Esqr. be appointed to allot the one years provision to Patsey Ethridge widow of William Ethridge deceased agreeable to act of assembly in that case made and provided.
January Session 1821
Report of the years provision of Patsey Etheridge was returned to court & ordered filed.
Richd. Roughton administrator returned on oath in open court an inventory & account sales of the estate of William Etheridge deceased & filed.
July Session 1821
Patsy Etheridge was appointed guardian to Elizabeth Etheridge orphan of William Etheridge deceased who entered into bond with approved security Ordered that she receive the estate of the said orphan into her possession & account for the same agreeable to law.
October Session 1823
Ordered that Henry Alexander Enoch Hassell and Richard Howett audite & settle the estate of William Etheridge deceased & make report to next term.

Bond dated 3 Jul 1821 in the amount of three hundred pounds appointing Patsy Etheridge guardian of Elizabeth Etheridge, orphan of William Etheridge deceased, Zebulon Kemp & William Walker securities.
Bond dated 3 Apr 1822 in the amount of three hundred pounds appointing Patsey Etheridge guardian of Elizabeth Etheridge a minor orphan, Zebulon Kemp & Wilson B. Hodges securities.
