In the name of God amen: I Nathan Euveritt of the County of Tyrell & State of North Carolina being very sick and weak of body but of perfect mind & memory thanks be given unto God, calling unto mind the mortallity of my body & knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament, that is to say principally and first of all I give & recommend my soul into the hand of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors nothing doubting but at the General Resurection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such wordly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give demise & dispose of the same in the following manner & form -

First - I lend unto my well beloved wife Elizabeth Euveritt during her widowhood the use of the plantation whereon I now live and all the land thereunto belonging and all my moveable Estate of every kind whatsoever & on the day of her marriage or deceace I give the land whereon I now live unto my two sons John Euveritt & Jamey Euveritt to be equally divided between them & my smiths tools I likewise give unto my two sons John Euveritt & Jamey Euveritt to be equally divided between them to them & their heirs and assigns forever -

Item - On the day of my wife Elizabeth Euveritts marriage my will & desire is that my moveable Estate not already given or bequeathed be equally divided between my wife Elizabeth Euveritt and my two daughters Charlotte Euveritt and Sarah Euveritt and if my wife never marry at her decease I give the whole to my two daughters above named to them there heirs and assigns forever and I do hereby appoint Joseph Euveritt and William Harrison Executors and my wife Elizabeth Euveritt Executrix of this my last Will & Testament and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke all & every other former Testaments Wills Legacys bequests and Executors by me in any wise before named willed and bequeathed ratifying this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this second day of May one thousand seven hundred & eighty one.

The last will and testament of Nathan Everit was proved in open court by the oath of William Blount subscribing witness ordred to be filed.

Summons dated 6 Jul 1785 for Elizabeth Everitt, executrix of Nathan Everitt deceased, & Thomas Stubbs Junr. to be in court on the first Monday of January next to answer unto Peter Robertson, guardian of William Worley deceased of a plea of debt damage twenty pounds.

Execution dated 6 April 1786 and issued 10 May 1786 against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of Elizabeth Everitt, executrix of Nathan Everitt and Thomas Stubbs Junr. for 3 pounds, 16 shillings & 11 pence which >B>Peter Robertson guardian of William Worley recovered against them for debt due, costs & charges.
