May 14, 1792
In the name of God Amen. I Silas Forster of Tyrrel County farmer being in a very low state of health but in sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in form following. That is to say, I give and recommend my soul into the hand of almighty God that gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my executrix and touching such worldly estate which it hath pleased God to bless me with, I will and bequeath in the following manner and form.
Item I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife my bed and furniture with it, also four cows and calves by the names of Violet, Going, Plad and Lucky, and two heifers and three steers. Also the third of my plantation Beeres Mares and all the rest of my estate enduring her lifetime, and then to be my daughter Sarah Belanga.
I also give to my well beloved daughter Sarah Belanga all the rest of my estate excepting the third which I have given unto my wife Kesiah Foster, and then at her decease to be my daughter Sarah Belanga.
Lastly, I do make and constitute Abel Belanga, my son in law to be executrix of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 14th day of May in the year of our Lord 1792.

Personally appeared in court Thomas Weatherly and made oath on the Holy Evangelists of almighty God that he saw and
heard Silas Foster within named sign, seal, publish, pronounce & declare the within instrument of writing to
be his last will & testament & at that time he was of sound disposing mind & memory & at the same time he saw
Penny Ralph a subscribing witness sign her name thereunto & further saith not
