Bond dated 26 Apr 1837 in the amount of four thousand five hundred dollars appointing John Dunbar administrator of the estate of Layden Gibson deceased, Silas Davenport & Jos. Halsey securities.
Laying off of the year's allowance of Sally Gibson, widow of Layden Gibson deceased, out of her deceased husband's estate on 24 May 1837 by Chas. McClees, David Cahoon & Isaac Meekins.

The 1850 census of Tyrrell County shows Sally Gipson (49) as head of household with Martha Gipson (24) and Delila Gipson (14). She is surrounded by four Dunbar families.
