Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
July Session 1792
Ordered that Sally Godwinn have leave of administration on the estate of Joseph Godwinn deceased her late husband and give bond 200 pounds Jesse Merritt & Benja. Baker her securities.
The said Sally Alexander administratrix of Joseph Godwinn deceased exhibited into court an inventory on oath of estate of the said deceased ordered filed.
Ordered that Sally Godwinn have leave to sell the estate of Joseph Godwinn deceased her late husband & make return to next court.
October Session 1792
Isaac Patrick Deputy Sheriff exhibits into court an account of sales of the estate of Joseph Godwinn deceased to amount of 16 pounds ordered filed.
April Session 1793
John Warrington Col. one of the auditors exhibits into court an account settled of the estate of Joseph Godwinn deceased & there appears a balance due to the administrator of 1 shillings & 3 pence.

Bond dated 27 Jul 1792 in the amount of two hundred pounds appointing Salley Godwinn administratrix of the estate of Joseph Godwinn deceased, Jesse Merritt & Benjamin Baker securities.
Account of sale of the estate of Joseph Godwinn deceased amounting to 16 pounds and returned to court by Isaac Patrick Deputy Sheriff in October Term 1792. Purchasers and number of purchases are Abram Alexander (1), Benjamin Baker (1), Sarah Crank (3), Sally Godwin (7), William Hassell (1), Samuel Hopkins (1), Joseph McKemmey (1), Obediah Lawrence (1), Jesse Merritt (4), Cornelius Morris (1), John Warrington (2), Thomas Warrington (2) & John Wynne (11).
