February 17, 1825
In the name of God Amen I, Jemima Garrett of the state and county aforesaid being in a lo state of health of body but of perfect sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament first of all I give my soul into the hands of allmighty God who gave it and as touching such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and dispose of in the following manner and form viz
Item I give unto my grand daughter Rebecca Cooper Smith my home plantation where on I now live with all the appartances there unto belonging and it is my will to give unto my daughter Mary Green children to one dollar each out of my parishable property It is my will after all my lawful debts is paid the balance of my estate I give unto my grand daughter Rebecca Cooper Smith at the age of twenty one years or at her marriage this my last will and testament is in as ample a manner as the learned in the law could divise etc etc and I allso appoint Dempsy Liverman and Benjamin Coper my true and lawful executors etc etc this 17th day of Fabuary 1825
