Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
May Session 1776
Ordered that Seth Phelps be apointed administrator to the estate of William Hunnings and gives Hezekiah Spruill & Isaac Alexander securitys in the sum of two hundred pounds & qualified thereto.
Ordered that Seth Phelps sell the perishable part of the estate of William Hunnings and make return to next court.
May Session 1777
Seth Phelps exhibited an inventory and account of sales of the estate of William Hunnings deceased ordered to be recorded.
May Session 1778
Mr. Seth Phelps appeared in court and exhibited his acct. on oath against the estate of William Hunnings deceased ordered to be filed.
January Session 1780
Seth Phelps exhibits his account against the estate of Wm. Hunnings deceased and there appears that the sum of sixteen pounds, fifteen shillings and six pence has been paid by said Phelps which account is ordered to be filed.

Execution dated 8 Apr 1785 against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of William Hunnings deceased for 64 pounds, 11 shillings & 7 pence with interest from February Term 1772 till paid also 3 pounds, 19 shillings & 10 pence office fees which Phillip Hopkins recovered against Seth Phelps administrator of William Hunnings deceased.
Receipt of Phillip Hopkins for twenty six pounds from Seth Phelps administrator of William Hunnings deceased on 2 Jul 1785.
