January Session 1799

Samuel Spruill Esquire one of the auditors appointed to audite the accounts of Samuel Hopkins deceased returns the accounts audited and find a ballance due administrator of 34 pounds, 19 shillings & 6 pence as per returns filed.

July Session 1799

On motion of Isaac Patrick administrator of Samuel Hopkins deceased ordered that Anne Howett administratrix of William Howett deceased pay to the said Isaac Patrick her balance of the money collected by the said William Howett on the sales of the land of the said Samuel Hopkins on two executions Isaac Davenport and Thomas Warrington against the administratrix of the said Samuel Hopkins.

January Session 1805

Ordered that Edmund Hopkins orphan of Samuel Hopkins deceased be bound apprentice to Thomas Leigh to learn the house carpenter and joining trade.

Order to the Sheriff dated 22 Jul 1797 to levy 9 pounds, 11 shillings & 6 pence from the estate of Samuel Hopkins deceased to satisfy a judgement against the said estate in favor of Thomas Warrington.

Summons dated 24 Oct 1797 for Isaac Patrick, administrator of Samuel Hopkins deceased to appear at court next January to answer the charges against said estate of John Shaw marriner of trespass and damages amounting to two hundred pounds.

Petition in January Term 1799 by Isaac Patrick administrator of Samuel Hopkins deceased stating that the estate is justly indebted to him in the amount of 34 pounds, 19 shillings & 6 pence and that there is no personal estate left, so he requests permission to sell the land.

Order to the Sheriff dated 23 Jan 1799 and issued 5 Mar 1799 to levy 38 pounds, 4 shillings & 6 pence from the estate of Samuel Hopkins deceased to satisfy a judgement against the said estate in favor of Isaac Patrick for debt and costs.
