In the name of God Amen I, Thomas Harrison of the state of North Carolina and county of Tyrrel being of sound and perect mind and memory do this twenty fourth day of December one thousand seven hundred and ninety five do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of almighty God that gave and my body to earth to be buried at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall receive the same by the mighty power of God and calling to mind such worldly estate as it hath pleased God in this life to endow me with I give and dispose of as follows -

First I will that all my just debts be lawfully paid -

Item I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Elisabeth Harrison my mannor plantation with all the lands belonging thereto with all the out lands I now possess during her life time or widowhood -

Item I will and bequeath to my son Asa Harrison the lands and plantation that I purchased of Samuel Garrett to be delivered to him the said Asa when he shall or may arrive to the age of twenty one years -

Item I will and bequeath to my son Henry Harrison after the death of my wife Elisabeth my mannor plantation with the lands belonging thereto and should my said wife live till him the said Henry shall arrive to the age of twenty one years my will and desire is that he shall have in his possession the plantation and lands that I purchased of my brother Josiah Harrison and the remaining parts of all my lands to remain in the possession of my wife Elisabeth Harrison during her natural life and after her decease to devolve upon my son Henry Harrison -

Item I wil bequeath to my beloved wife Elisabeth Harrison on mare called Bonny or which of my horses she shall choose with one feather bed and furniture -

Item I will and bequeath to my son Aaron Harrison ten pound lawful money to be raised out of my estate when he shall arrive to the age of twenty one years -

Item I will and bequeath to my daughter Fanny Harrison ten pounds lawfull money to be raised out of my estate at the day of her marriage or when she shall arrive to the age of eighteen years -

Item I will and bequeath to my daughter Deborah Harrison ten pounds lawful money to be raised out of my estate at the day of her marriage or when she shall arrive to the age of eighteen years -

Item All the remaining part of my estate not willed at the death or marriage of my said wife I will to be equally divided among my children to wit Elisha Aaron Fanny and Deborah Harrison to them and their heirs for ever and I do hereby constitute ordain and appoint my wife Elisabeth Harrison executrix and my son Aaron Harrison executor of this my last will and testament disannuling and revoking all other wills testaments bequeaths or legacies whatsoever ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above written -

The last will and testament of Thomas Harrison was introduced into open court and proved by the oath of Richard Fagan one of the subscribing witnesses ordered to be recorded.

Personally appeared Elizabeth Harrison in open court and quallifyed executrix to the last will of Thomas Harrison deceased acording to due form of law.
