Guardian bond dated 6 Sep 1743 in the amount of one hundred pounds appointing Thomas Hawkins guardian of Ann Hanson and Mary Hanson orphans of John Hanson deceased and also guardian of Elizabeth Hassell orphan of Mathew Hassell deceased with William Stealy & John Swain securities.
Account of sales of the estate of Mathew Hassell deceased on 17 Dec 1743. Elizabeth Hawkins purchased the majority of the estate. Other purchasers were James Long, Giles Long, John Swain, Mary McDowel & Wm. Hassell.
Transcriber's Notes:
The sale of the estates of Matthew Hasell & John Hanson were on the same day and Elizabeth Hawkins was the
primary purchaser of both estates, which indicates she was the heir of both.
