Hassell, Joseph, 1845
Bond dated 28 Apr 1845 in the amount of $250 appointing Joshua W. Hassell administrator of the estate of Joseph Hassell deceased, Chas. McClees & Wm. Norman securities.
Execution dated the 4th Monday in January 1846 and issued 2 Feb 1846 against the lands and tenements of Wm. P. Nooney, it being his undivided right in the lands of Joseph Hassell deceased on the east side of Scuppernong River on the Newlands joining Miles Liverman and others, to cover $0.65 in interest from 29 May 1843 and $3.90 in costs and charges which Jones D. Armstrong revovered against him in a suit. Offered for sale on the 4th Monday in April but no sale for want of bidders. Subsequent documents show this was satisfied by the plaintiff July Term 1846.
