July Session 1805
Ordered that James Freeman be appointed guardian to the heirs of Jesse Hatfield Junr. with Jno. & Levi Bateman securities for 1,000 pounds.
October Session 1805
Major James Freeman who was appointed at last term of this court guardian to Jesse Durant Hatfield and therefore became bound to make a return of his proceedings says he has not received any property of his said ward.
January Session 1814
Ordered that Jesse Hatfield be bound an apprentice to Major Brickhouse & that he cause him to be lernt to read write & cypher as far as the rule of three the indenture filed.
