August Session 1808
The last will and testament of Woolsey Hathaway Senr. was proved in court by the oath of Elijah Warrington and John Tarkenton son of Joseph filed.
Burton Hathaway and Woolsey Hathaway Junr. came into court and quallified executor of the last will & testament of Woolsey Hathaway Senr.
November Session 1808
Burton Hathaway returned in court on oath the inventory of Woolsey Hathaway Senr. deceased filed.
September Session 1810
Ordered that Levi Batman Richard Wood and James Hoskins Esqrs. be appointed to audite the accounts between the estate of Woolsey Hathaway and Burton Hathaway executor and make due return.
April Session 1812
Ordered that James Hoskins Richard Wood and Levi Batman Esqrs. be appointed to audite and settle the estate of Woolsey Hathaway Senr. deceased and make return to next court.
July Session 1812
Account of sales of the ? property of Woolsey Hathaway deceased was returned to court on oath by Burton Hathaway executor in order to be filed.

Summons issued the first Monday of November 1808 to the Sheriff of Washington County for Thomas Hill to appear at next court and testify on behalf of Salvanus Spruill in a suit between he and Burton Hathaway executor of Woolsey Hathaway deceased.

Ann Davenport widow of Benjamin & Henry Spruill to appear at next court and testify on behalf of Salvanus Spruill in a suit between he and Burton Hathaway executor of Woolsey Hathaway deceased.

Execution dated 9 Jul 1811 and issued 17 Jul 1811 against Burton Hathaway executor of Woolsey Hathaway deceased for 4 pounds, 4 shillings & 6 pence for court costs which John Spruill Junr. recovered against him in a suit.
Many executions from 1812 to 1816 against Demsey Marriner which Woolsey Hathaway's executors recovered against him in a court case. Executions were duly advertised but they were returned beause their were no bidders.
Many executions from 1811 to 1820 directed to the sheriffs of Tyrrell & Washington Counties against Sylvanus Spruill which the executors of Woolsey Hathaway recovered against him in a court case. Executions were duly advertised but they were returned beause their were no bidders.
Many certificates issued to witnesses appearing in court to testify.
Transcriber's Notes:
Court minutes and estate papers all indicate that Woolsey Hathaway died leaving a will but it has not been located.
