I V. E. Jones of the county and state aforesaid being of sound mind and disposing memory, but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence, do make and declare this my last Will and Testament.
Item - My executor and trustee hereinafter named shall collect all debts owing to me at the time of my death and pay any debts that I may owe, if any, at the time of my death. He shall also procure and erect for myself, my deceased son Seaton Jones, and my deceased husband F. F. Jones suitable stones to mark the place of burial of each of us.
And for the above purpose he shall expend so much of my personal estate as may be necessary.
Item - I give and devise to my beloved sister Emma C. Cooper the following real estate and interests in real estate to be held in trust for by my executor and trustee during her life time only: The house and lot in the town of Columbia, where I now live, situated on Elm Street and Back Street, generally called the Corner House. The farm and everything on it belonging to me, situated near the town of Columbia, formerly called the Sutton Place but now known as the Jones Farm. All of the real estate and interest in real estate wherever situated which belongs to me as one of the heirs or devisees of my deceased father W. W. Walker and deceased mother Caroline. For the period of her lifetime only
I give to my beloved sister Emma C. Cooper all of my personal property of every kind and nature whatsoever, to be held in trust for her by my executor and trustee hereinafter named.
Item - At the death of my beloved sister Emma C. Cooper I give, devise and bequeath to her children absolutely and forever all of the real and personal property above mentioned. It being the intent and purpose of this my last Will and Testament to give my said sister and children support for as long as she shall live and at her death all of said property to belong to her children. Should any of the children die during the lifetime of my beloved sister leaving issue my will and desire is that the said issue shall have a childs share.
I hereby constitute my worthy friend J. D. Cooper my lawful executor and trustee to all interests and purposes to execute this my last Will and Testament, and to act as trustee for the said Emma C. Cooper and for the benefit of such minor children as she the said Emma C. Cooper shall leave surviving her according to the true intent and meaning of the same.
In witness whereof I the said V. E. Jones do hereunto set my hand and seal the 17th day of December 1906.

In the matter of the Will of V. E. Jones, deceased:
The paper writing hereto attached and purporting to be the last Will and Testament of V. E. Jones, deceased, is exhibted by J. D. Cooper, the executor therein named. The following proof thereof is taken by, the oath and examination, of T. W. Jones one of the subscribing witnesses and of Mark Majette as follows:
T. W. Jones futher swears that T. L. Jones the other subscribing witness to the said will, signed the same as a witness and that said T. L. Jones is now dead.
Mark Majette, being duly sworn, disposes and says that he is well aquainted with the handwriting of T. L. Jones, having often seen him write and that affiant saw him sign the same.
Subscribed and sworn before me this 5th day of April 1915.
