Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
January Session 1799
Ordered that Benjamin Spruill be appointed guardian to Richard Luckas orphan of James Lukas deceased and give bond & security in the sum of 500 pounds William Howett & Levi Bateman securities.
Ordered that Richard Lucas orphan of James Lucas be bound to Demsey Marriner till he arrives to lawful age to learn the art and mistrey of a house carpenter the said master is also to give the said apprentis three months schooling.
