Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
April Session 1785
Appeared in open court Giles Long and prayed an administration on the estate of Miles Long deceased granted and give bond 100 pounds - Frily Jones & Isaac Long securitys - the said Giles Long returned an inventory of the said M. Long deceased estate upon oath in open court - also prayed an order for sale of the said deceased estate granted.
January Session 1786
Account of sales of the estate of Miles Long deceased returned into court by Edmund Blount Esqr. Sheriff to the amount of 66 pounds - ordered to be filed.
April Session 1786
Giles Long administrator of Miles Long deceased exhibited in court an account against the said deceased estate proved and appears there is a balance due the said administrator of 9 pounds & 15 shillings ordered to be filed.
